User guide for real estate agencies

In order to use all the facilities offered by real.norc.pl for real estate agencies, a real estate agency account has to be created -see real estate agency account

The real estate agency account consists of an administrator account and one or more agent accounts.

The account administrator has full control on the activities developped either in the agency account, or in the agent acoounts.

A. Administrator account

If you wish to access the agency account as an administrator, you must authenticate with the username and the password used for creating the real estate agency account.

Menus available in the administrator account.

1. My account

By accessing this menu you can see the public profile of the agency, as it can be seen on the web-site by any user, whether he is authenticated or not.

This menu has three submenus:

adverts – in this submenu there can be seen the real estate agency bussiness card, consisting of its contact data, and the list of all the adverts published by the agency which are visible on the site at the current time.

agency location – in this submenu there can be seen the agency location on the map, a panoramic image of its headquarters, if available, and the agency address.

agents – in this submenu there can be seen the bussiness cards of all agents belonging to the real estate agency.

2. Profile edit

In this menu several data regarding the real estate agency can be added or modified, as follows:

logo – the agency logo – the image you choose will accompany any advert published by the agency.

agency description – informations about the real estate agency which are public visible on the site by any user.

Confidential data – data used for billing and the contact person for the relation with ESG - these data are not public visible on the site.

Contact data - phone number, fax number, webpage - data public visible on the site.

Options - language chosen by the user for the site interface.

The interface for modifying the account access password.

In this menu there are also informations that cannot be modified by the user:

user – unique for any site NORC – it can't be changed - used for authentication. It's visible on site, accompanying the published adverts.

E-mail –it can't be changed, being unique for any account. The e-mail address is not visible on site, but it is used to receive messages from the authenticated users of the site, by the contact system integrated in the site.

agency name – it can't be changed, it is visible on the site in the agency bussiness card.

the validated phone number - can be modified only if ESG is contacted, it is public and accompanies always any advert published by the agency - see Validating the phone number.

3. Add and edit agents

By using this menu, available only in the administrator account, it is possible to access the real estate agents management.

The administrator may add or delete agents and it is also the only one allowed to modify the profile of the created agents.

3.1. Add agent

By using this command the administrator may create a new agent.

After pressing “Add agent”, the administrator may access the page for creating the new agent profile.

All fields are obligatory and it's important to notice that after creating the agent only the administrator may change any of these values, the agent being allowed only to view his own profile and not to modify it.

user and password - the username and the password that will be used by the agent for authentication. The username is public visible on the site and will accompany any advert published by the respective agent.

The e-mail address - the agent e-mail address - on this e-mail address an message will automatically be sent to check the e-mail address and to activate the account. The e-mail address is not public visible on the site, but it is used to receive messages from the authenticated users of the site, by the contact system integrated in the site.

First and last name - agent first and last name. Are public visible on the site, in the agent bussiness card, accompanying any advert published by him.

After filling the fields press the Save button and the new agent profile is saved. To activate the agent account he has to check his e-mail address and follow the instructions written in the message .

Steps for activating the agent account:

Check the e-mail account used for creating the agent account ( don't forget to check also the "Spam" folder if you don't have the message in your "Inbox").

Validate the agent account by clicking the link received inside the message.

After clicking the link from the message, the account is active and the agent is redirected to a page for confirming the account activation.

3.2. Delete agent

This command is active in the administrator's interface only untill the respective agent account is activated. Once the agent account is being activated, this account cannot be deleted anymore.

3.3. Edit profile

This command becomes active only after the agent account has been activated and allows the administrator to change all the data from the agent account, adding and modifying the agent contact methods.

IMPORTANT.

The administrator can modify any data from the agent profile, including the username, if an agent is changed. The new agent will get all the adverts from the previous one, by changing the username and the contact data.

4. Agency address and location.

In this menu the administrator can define:

the agency location on the map - same with defining a property location.

the agency address – the address is visible on the site in the agency business card

5. New advert

Allows to create a new advert on behalf of the agency - the business card and the contact data accompanying the adverts created by the administrator on behalf of the agency will contain only contact informations of the agency and no informations about any agent.

6. Publishing cart.

Publishing cart means a list containing the adverts proposed for publishing by all the agents of the respective agency and also by the administrator - see Publishing an advert.

7.Lists of adverts

The lists of adverts available in the administrator account are similar with those existing in the agent accounts or private user accounts - see “Lists of adverts”.

The difference between them is that in the administrator account there are all the adverts of the agency - the administrator's and the agents'.

Moreover, the administrator has full power on these adverts, including the agents' adverts - see “Actions on the adverts
