Validating a phone number
To publish an advert on the site, the user must have at least one valid phone number. Without a valid phone number, the account is fully functional, excluding the publishing feature
This phone number will be diplayed in every advert published by the user and is a guarantee that the advert is real. If the user wants to modifiy this phone number any time, the change will appear in every published advert, including the ones previously published.
Validating a phone number for "Private" accounts
Validating a number for this account type is done by sending a short text message (SMS) with normal rate, to the phone number listed in the interface, as follows:
The authenticated user must access "My account/Edit profile". In the profile editing page you can find "Validated phone number" box. In case the user didn't previously validate any other phone number, the box is empty. On the right of the box the user can find "Validate a new phone number". By pressing this link a new message containing a unique code will appear under the box . This code must be sent by SMS from the phone number that the user needs validation for. After sending the message with the specified code, the user must refresh the page, and the phone number from which the unique code has been sent will be shown in the "Valid phone number" box.
In case the user wants to change any time this phone number , he needs to re-do the steps explained above. In this case, the "Validated phone number" box will contain the previous phone number, till the new one will be validated. Also, if after the user presses the link for obtaining the unique code he gives up sending the text message, the old phone number will remain available as a valid phone number.
Validating a phone number for "Real-estate agency" accounts.
Validating a phone number for the "Administrator" account.
This type of validation is done only by eXtreme Soft Group operators in a maximum of 48 working hours from the creation of the account, using direct contact - see "Validating account" for "Real-estate agency" account types.
This phone number is the one inserted in the account creation interface and will accompany every advert published by the agency.
Validating phone number for "Agent" accounts.
This is not a validation itself, but consists in the insertion by the administrator in the "Validated phone number" box of a phone number for each agent. This can be done by dministrator accesing the "My account/Add and edit agents" menu, and the "Edit profile" button available for each agent.
This phone number will accompany all adverts published by the agent.
