Creating Panolinks

A panolink is a hyperlink to a specific panoramic image selected by the user.

Once saved, a panolink can be sent to anyone by e-mail using the message system provided by the Norc website or any other e-mail system, or it can be copied from this interface and used wherever in the Internet.

By accessing a panolink, the panoramic picture that it was created for will be displayed on Norc websites. Also a panolink takes into account the angle in which the panoramic image was rotated and the zoom level chosen when creating it. Thus for a panoramic picture, more than one panolink can be created.

Panolinks can be created only by authenticated users.

To create a panolink you should follow the steps bellow:
  • Choose the panoramic image you want to create your panolink for
  • Point the image to the area of interest and choose the desired zoom level
  • Press the "Panolink" command
  • Name the created panolink. Based on the name, you can identify the panolink later. Also this name will appear in public on Norc website.
  • You will find the saved panolink on your own list of panolinks.
