Working with panoramic images

Viewing the panoramic images

The Panoramic images can be viewed on Norc websites in two dimensions:
  • normal size, when viewed integrated with map.
  • large or full-screen size, when the panoramic image is displayed on whole screen.
Switching from one to another can be done as follows:
  • from normal to full-screen size, by pressing the expand button located in the upper right corner of the panoramic image,
  • from full-screen to normal size, by pressing Esc on the keyboard or by pressing the collapse button that is found in the upper right corner of the panoramic image.

Actions that can be done with the panoramic images.

  • Rotate the panorama - this is done by positioning the cursor over the panoramic image, and then simultaneously press the left button of the mouse and moving the cursor, and as a result the image will rotate in the desired direction.
  • Zoom in / out - by this the user can see a certain area of the image more detailed (zoom in) or less detailed (zoom out). These actions may be carried out by moving the cursor placed to the right bottom corner.

These two actions can be done in the same way, regardless of the size of the panoramic image.

About the "panorama points" and how to view a certain panoramic image.

The panorama points are displayed on the map indicating where the panoramic images were captured. These panorama points may be of different colors, as follows:
  • red points - points where panoramic images were captured, but are not yet available for viewing.
  • blue points - points where panoramic images were captured and the images are available for viewing.

The panorama point corresponding to the panoramic image shown on the website is indicated through a panorama marker on the map. This marker rotates together with the displayed panoramic image, indicating the direction towards which the user is looking to.

The user can see a panoramic picture corresponding to another panorama point on the map, by moving the panorama marker on the chosen point. For this, the user must move the cursor over the panorama marker, and then simultaneously press the left button of the mouse and move the panorama marker above the chosen point. When the left mouse button is released, the panorama marker will "sit" on the chosen point and the associated panoramic image will be shown.

This can be also done when viewing full-screen panoramic image, using the map shown in the bottom left corner of the panoramic image.

Moving between consecutive panoramic images.

The users can view consecutive panoramic images using the blue arrows placed in bottom right corner of them. By bringing the cursor over one of the available arrows, on the map will be marked the next panoramic image that the panorama marker will move on if the user will click on that arrow. In this way, where more arrows are available, the user can choose which to be the next panoramic image that he will see.

This is possible both in normal mode and in full-screen view of the panoramic image.
